I had read some of his speeches and excerpts from many. But whole texts of speeches, over a 50 year period, nope. Douglass is one of the most widely read person’s I have read.

Hace 6 días · He records in his Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, An American Slave, that he was "born in Tuckahoe, near Hillsborough, and about twelve miles from Easton, in Talbot county, Maryland." Douglass biographers ever since have cited "Tuckahoe" as the Douglas birthplace.
