Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel fue un filósofo alemán del siglo XIX, considerado uno de los más influyentes y complejos de la historia del pensamiento occidental. Nacido el 27 de agosto de 1770 en Stuttgart, Hegel pasó la mayor parte de su vida en Berlín, donde desarrolló su obra filosófica y enseñó en la Universidad de Berlín.
