Hace 2 días · Princess Charlotte of Wales was the only daughter of George IV, then Prince of Wales and his first cousin, Caroline of Brunswick . She was born at the Prince George's residence of Carlton House in London, on 7 January 1796.
Other reported children include Major George Seymour Crole, the son of theatre manager's daughter Eliza Crole; William Hampshire, the son of publican's daughter Sarah Brown; and Charles "Beau" Candy, the son of a Frenchwoman with that surname.

Princess Charlotte of Wales may refer to: Princess Charlotte of Wales (1796–1817) (Charlotte Augusta), the only child of George, Prince of Wales, later King George IV of the United Kingdom. Princess Charlotte of Wales (ship), an East Indiaman launched in 1812 and broken up in 1831.
She was George IV and Caroline of Brunswick’s only legitimate child and despite at one time being the most popular member of the Royal Family and ‘Britain’s Hope’ for the future she has now been largely forgotten.
The Prince Regent was so grief stricken that he was unable to attend his daughter’s funeral on 19 November at St. George's Chapel, Windsor, where she is interred alongside her son. The sudden loss of the popular Princess impacted the entire nation causing places of public entertainment to close out of respect, and on the day of her funeral mourners lined the streets of Windsor.
