Reichtangle, also known as Fourth Reichtangle, or sometimes as German Empiretangle, is the main antagonist of Polandball web comics and cartoons. It usually represents the future/fourth dimension version of Germanyball, but is sometimes mistaken for German Empire (or represents them both). In most of its appearances, it is shown seeking to conquer and destroy Poland and/or other countryballs.

He is a monster infected drawn as a vertical black-white-red rectangle (hence its name) not to be mistaken for the ball-shaped Second Reich.

He is a mysterious and unpredictable entity. Its actual intentions are unknown. It is usually shown as sadistic and aggressive. Some works depict it as a bloodthirsty berserk version of Germany that seeks to destroy every single country standing in its way, while in others, it just tries to befriend Poland but does it the wrong way. It also seems to like hanging out with Omsk Bird. It spreads influence on other countryballs, as the may also sometimes change into a tangle, with the most often being the EU (Merkelreich) or the Russian Empire (Rustangle). But despite this, he is a patriot, serving his country.

Reichtangle's true origin is unknown, though it's assumed to be Germany's descendant or its alternate universe counterpart.

Sometimes Germany hallucinates Reichtangle when looking into the mirror, so it was rumored that it might be the Nazi Germany hiding inside its son.

Germany is also seen transforming into Fourth Reich and going on rampage on some occasions, like getting angry with its former enemies. It is theorized that a part of him lives inside the European Union.
