The current Ghostbusters logo is almost the same as its original. However, the most remarkable change you can spot is the color. While the maiden wordmark dazzled in black, the newest one prefers white. Overall, it’s one of the most recognizable and successful logos in the world.

Over the years, you’ve likely heard of studies that place the Ghostbusters logo up there as one of the most iconic and easily recognizable images in the world, with many knowing exactly what it represents by just catching a glance, putting it in an elite class alongside Apple, Mickey Mouse, and Coca-Cola.
The movie’s logo uses a mirror image of the symbol, with the diagonal red line running from top right to bottom left of the red circle. Inside the circle, of course, is the startled cartoonish white ghost. The logo was cleverly used on the movie poster as the “o” in Ghostbusters.
