Visit Glamis |. The Glamis sand dunes are located off-of Hwy 78 between and Blythe, CA and Brawley, CA. There are two main routes you can take into the dunes depending on where you are traveling from. Keep in mind that you need a pass to be at the dunes so make sure you purchase one before you head out to Glamis or on-site once you get there.

Its the largest sand dune field in California, stretching approximately 45 miles by 6 miles. It runs southeast from Hwy 10 all the way south to the boarder with Mexico.
