25 de abr. de 2022 · University and local officials believe the increasingly vibrant SciTech Campus will serve as a magnet to attract new and existing businesses in Prince William County’s Innovation Park, advance the region’s innovation industries and drive associated economic growth. Construction on the project is scheduled to begin in early May.
About the Campus. George Mason University opened the doors of its Science and Technology Campus (formerly called the Prince William Campus) on August 25, 1997. Along with existing campuses in Fairfax and Arlington, it became the university’s third campus in Northern Virginia and welcomed approximately 800 students to a single multipurpose building.

Over the course of the late 1980s and 1990s, Prince William County would become the site of George Mason University’s newest campus. Now (2012) in its fifteenth year, the Prince William Campus continues to be an essential component in Mason’s Distributed Campus system.
