This is a bit of a funny question as a Kitchen Nightmares fan actually asked this question on the Ms. Jean’s Southern Cuisine Facebook page. Ms. Jean responded that “You’ll have to come in to find out.” so I’m not sure if Marissa is actually working there or not.
Overall, Ms. Jean’s Southern Cuisine stayed open for around a decade after the episode aired on TV, so this was definitely not a failure.
