Gordonstoun follows the English GCSE and A-Level curriculum and students go on to Universities and Colleges all over the world to study a diverse range of subjects. The school’s location on the coast in the North of Scotland provides the background for Gordonstoun’s world-beating outdoor education programme.
Gordonstoun is a co-educational boarding and day school for children aged 4–18. There are approximately 130 pupils in the Junior school and a further 440 in the Senior School. Gordonstoun prides itself on the balanced make-up of the student body with approximately one third from overseas, one third from Scotland and one third from the rest of the UK.
