Heathfield is an attractive market town standing on a ridgeway surrounded by beautiful rolling Sussex countryside. It was granted a Market Charter in February 1316 during the reign of Edward II. Heathfield has a busy high street with a variety of small local shops as well as supermarkets, cafes and restaurants.
Heathfield is a town in East Sussex, in the High Weald. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Situated near the Kentish border there are also excellent views of the South Downs and the coast in the south and marvellous views towards Mayfield and over Ashdown Forest .
