Jane was buried in a vault in the Quire of St George’s Chapel Windsor Castle on the 12th November 1537. Henry VIII’s daughter Mary acted as chief mourner at the funeral. Jane Seymour was the only one of Henry VIII’s wives to receive a Queen’s funeral. In 1547 Henry VIII was to join her in the vault after his own death.
