Grupos minoritarios hablan romaní, alemán, croata, eslovaco, rumano, esloveno y serbio. El inglés está muy extendido en Budapest, la capital de Hungría, pero no en las zonas rurales y las ciudades más pequeñas.

La buena noticia es que los húngaros suelen hablar bien inglés, sobre todo en la capital, donde la gente habla muy bien inglés en «Buda» o «Pest» (como se llama Budapest).
