29 de ago. de 2012 · Ingrid Bergman first arrived in Hollywood from Sweden in 1939, and after completing a screen test she signed a seven-year contract with producer David O. Selznick. It was under contract to Selznick that she first worked with Alfred Hitchcock, on the psychological thriller Spellbound (1945).

Casablanca, Notorious, Indiscreet, Gaslight, Spellbound, Joan of Arc, The Bells of St Mary's, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Anastasia, Intermezzo. Roughly in that order. Also Ingmar Bergman's 'Autumn Sonata', which IMO is Ingrid's best performance. IMO, her best performance is in Gaslight (also my favourite film that she's been in along with Notorious).
