I was playing Cyberpunk and learnt a new word that I absolutely love: Schnittstelle. I've come across it more after learning it, but in the past I only knew Interface. Are there any German technical words that sound old fashioned regarding this topic or would it be normal to just use the more novel words for a non-native like Schnittstelle?
