Sir John Ponsonby Conroy, 1st Baronet, KCH (21 October 1786 – 2 March 1854) was a British Army officer who served as comptroller to the Duchess of Kent and her young daughter, Princess Victoria, the future Queen of the United Kingdom.

Upon eighteen-year-old Queen Victoria's ascension to the throne in 1837, Conroy was banished from Court. However, the Prime Minister, Lord Melbourne, was obliged to agree to a number of his demands – including a baronetcy and a £3,000 pa pension – just to avoid any scandal.
