  5. 5 de may. de 2024 · THE RADCLIFFE CAMERA. At least two years before the death of Dr. John Radcliffe in 1714 it was known that he intended to build a library in Oxford, and it was thought that the new building would take the form of an extension westwards of the Selden End of the Bodleian.

  6. There are three laboratories within the Department of Clinical Biochemistry, at the John Radcliffe, Churchill and Horton General hospitals. Processes on all three sites have been harmonised through use of common equipment, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and information management.

In 1978 a group of hospital musicians, led by respiratory consultant Dr Donald Lane, came together to give a concert in memory of a young nurse named Jill Broadis who had died of melanoma, and helped to launch a memorial fund for cancer research in her name. This concert then became a regular event for 20 years.
