EKC Folkestone Junior College. EKC Folkestone Junior College is a provision for learners aged 14 and over who would benefit from learning within a College setting. We offer an exciting, two-year Creative curriculum for those who wish to specialise in Art or Business Studies. Applications for September 2024 are now closed.
About us. Part of East Kent Colleges Group’s family, EKC Folkestone College is responsive to local employer and stakeholder needs. We have more than 700 students each year accessing career relevant full-time programmes of study, part-time courses, or College-based learning as an Apprentice.

K College was formed in April 2010 by the merger of South Kent College with West Kent College. The college had campuses in Ashford, Dover, Folkestone, Tonbridge and Royal Tunbridge Wells and at one point had more than 25,000 students.

Folkestone campus. East Kent College took over the Folkestone and Dover campuses of K College on 1 August 2014. Corporate links. East Kent College has close links with local companies across all 4 campuses.
