Die Kapverdischen Inseln, auch kurz Kapverden genannt, sind eine Inselgruppe im Atlantischen Ozean. Sie liegen etwa 570 Kilometer vor der afrikanischen Westküste und sind ein Teil von Makaronesien. Seit 1975 bildet das Gebiet der Inseln die unabhängige Inselrepublik Kap Verde.
