Frederick Augustus I ( German: Friedrich August I.; Polish: Fryderyk August I; French: Frédéric-Auguste Ier; 23 December 1750 – 5 May 1827) was a member of the House of Wettin who reigned as the last Elector of Saxony from 1763 to 1806 (as Frederick Augustus III) and as the first King of Saxony from 1806 to 1827. Six years later, Conrad I of Franconia designated Henry as his heir shortly before he died. Henry now controlled two of the four most significant duchies in Germany, the nobles of which elected him king of Germany in May of 919.
Saxony is recreated as a constituent part of the new federal Germany and its future fortunes are to be tied to this new political creation. Grant all of these titles and vassals to your chosen count (now Duke of anhalt) then switch your player character to that Duke and now you wait for 2 things 1 enough power fight for you independence from the HRE and 2 wait for a ruler with enough prestige to declare a new kingdom. Then just rename the title of “anhalt” to “saxony” and boom.

He was a Catholic king of a Protestant country who was nonetheless popular with his subjects. He also was a capable soldier who fought well in the Seven Weeks’ War of 1866 and in the Franco-German War of 1870–71.
