Lady Seymour is a very kind, old woman. Madam wishes she can be dead because she is rich and helps Isabel. In the beginning of the book , Lady Seymour is introduced as generous and understanding. As the book progresses, her character is shown as very appreciative after Isabel saves the picture of her husband.
