Lawrence M. Principe (/ p r ɪ n tʃ ɪ p eɪ /) is the Drew Professor of the Humanities at Johns Hopkins University in the Department of History of Science and Technology and the Department of Chemistry.
Research Interests: Early modern and late medieval science and technology, especially the history of alchemy/chemistry and issues of science and theology/religion. Education: PhD, History of Science, Johns Hopkins University; PhD, Organic Chemistry, Indiana University.
LAWRENCE M. PRINCIPE, A&S 1996 (PhD), arrived at Johns Hopkins University as a graduate student in 1988, became a lecturer of chemistry in 1989, and a member of the professorial faculty in 1997.
