After accidentally shooting his elbow with an unauthorized handgun and fighting an officer, Oswald was court-martialed twice and demoted.

That was one of only two bases on earth where the US was flying top-secret U-2 spy planes over the Soviet Union and China. That means Atsugi was actually run by the Central Intelligence Agency.
