Before the selection of the members, LOONA’s concept was first devised by their former A&R Director, Jaden Jeong. On September 26, 2016, the first teaser for member HeeJin was released across multiple social media platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. On January 4, YeoJin was revealed as the fourth member.
