The Lower Silesia region of Poland is located in the south-central part of the country. It is bordered by the Czech Republic to the west, Germany to the north and west, and Slovakia to the south. Internally the Lower Silesia Voivodeship is bordered by the Lubusz, Opole and the Great Poland regions.
