A list of alumni of Magdalen College (/ ˈ m ɔː d l ɪ n / MAWD-lin), one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford in England. Notable former students include politicians, lawyers, bishops, poets, and academics. The list is largely male as women were first admitted to study at Magdalen in 1979.

Foundation charter. Magdalen quickly became one of Oxford’s most prominent colleges. Kings and Princes visited us, including Edward IV, Richard III and James I. We soon produced alumni who achieved great things in later life, including Thomas Wolsey, Fellow here in the 1490s, and Henry VIII’s chief minister for two decades.
As an alumni member you are free to walk around the College and are free to ignore the signs ‘no visitor access’ towards e.g. St Swithun’s Quad, Longwall Quad, etc. Dine with us You can book breakfast, lunch, and an informal dinner in Hall.
