Petit-Pays. Petit-Pays (born Adolphe Claude Moundi in Douala, Cameroon on 5 June 1967 [1]) is a Cameroonian musician. Petit-Pays has over 35 albums to his credit and is the Cameroonian musician with the highest number of songs ever. In 1996, he had sold over 50,000 cassettes the day of the release of his Double Album Class F and Class M.

Performers such as Manu Dibango, Francis Bebey, Moni Bilé, and Petit-Pays popularised the style worldwide in the 1970s and 1980s. Bikutsi originated as war music among the Ewondo.
