Das Land mit 1,6 Millionen Einwohnern (2020) gliedert sich in sechs Landkreise und zwei kreisfreie Städte. Seine Landeshauptstadt ist Schwerin.

This picturesque palace has to be seen to be believed. Made up of countless turrets, carvings, statues and windows, it truly does look like it’s been plucked from a storybook.
10 de may. de 2024 · Schwerin Castle was constructed under the orders of Grand Duke of Mecklenburg, Frederick Franz II, between 1843-1847. The building is of Neo-Renaissance style, and since 1990 has been the residence of the Parliament of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
