Durante su estancia en Televisa conoció al productor Pedro Damián, quien más tarde le ofreció protagonizar Mi pequeña traviesa junto a Héctor Soberón. Por su desempeño, en 1999 le fue otorgado el Premios TVyNovelas como Mejor debutante del año.
