  2. Hace 1 día · The music is far more interesting than anything spoken by Garr, Forest, and company. The 4K disc features a mercifully shorter cut of the mess that is One from the Heart. Apparently, some of the original negative was thought to be lost, and this cut restores several minutes of original negative elements to ostensibly improve the visual qualities.

Colour me unsurprised that it didn’t click with audiences back in ‘81, and just as sad that a romantic drama of such uniquely brittle subterfuge, amid its gorgeous kingdom of lushly uplifting neons, could go so lambasted for so long!

Six minutes of footage have been added to replace the original negative, previously thought to be destroyed, resulting in a brand-new Reprise version, approved by Coppola himself.
