An example of a Supervan III is the iconic yellow van belonging to Del Boy and Rodney Trotter in the long-running BBC sitcom Only Fools and Horses. There were several Reliant Supervans used in filming, and many people claim to own genuine screen used vans, but very few have proof.

In the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics, the Trotters' yellow Reliant van appeared on stage, along with Del Boy and Rodney body doubles dressed as Batman and Robin, a reference to the Only Fools and Horses episode "Heroes and Villains".

Possibly the nation’s most famous three-wheel vehicle, this Reliant Regal Supervan III (often mistakenly referred to as a ‘Robin’) featured in the BBC sitcom Only Fools and Horses. For a time it was the only transport for the Trotter family of Del, Rodney, Grandad and Uncle Albert until Del Boy went ‘upmarket’ and purchased a Capri Ghia.
Despite being a Regal, the van is often incorrectly referred to as a Reliant Robin by the public. Quotes. Throughout the series, many characters have made comments regarding the van.
Synopsis. The episode opens with Rodney in a dystopian nightmare, in which Damien, head of the now multinational Trotters Independent Traders, apparently rules the Western world in the year 2026, forcing President Keanu Reeves to declare war on China, claiming that "war is good".
