Grand Peterhof Palace. Peter the Great visited Versailles in 1717 and he returned to Saint Petersburg with many ideas for enhancing his own summer palace and grounds, which were already under construction.
12 de ene. de 2024 · It is the most convenient way to get to Peterhof. “Hydrofoil” boats leave from Saint Petersburg city center, behind the Winter Palace, to reach the quay leading directly into the Peterhof gardens. These boats are called the “Meteor”. The journey is fast and comfortable. Price: ~ 1600 rubles for round trip.
