He died in a clinic in Tutzing, Bavaria because of a lack of blood transfusion facilities. He and his wife fled their home in light of the Russian advance, arriving in Tutzing, where Waldemar was able to receive his last blood transfusion. [2] .
26 de mar. de 2014 · Waldemar was buried near his brother Sigismund at the Friedenskirche (Church of Peace) in Potsdam, Kingdom of Prussia, now in Brandenburg, Germany. The remains of both boys were later transferred to the Kaiser Friedrich Mausoleum at the Friedenskirche where Fritz and Vicky were buried.
