Princess Amelia Sophia Eleonore of Great Britain (10 June 1711 – 31 October 1786) was the second daughter of King George II of Great Britain and Queen Caroline. Born in Hanover she moved to England when her grandfather, George I became king.

Princess Amelia of the United Kingdom. Princess Amelia (7 August 1783 – 2 November 1810) was the fifteenth and last child and sixth daughter of King George III of the United Kingdom and his wife, Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. She was their third child to die before them.

She was born in Hanover in 1711 when George was Elector of Hanover and was very well educated in languages, enjoying fishing and horses, but she was thought to be very arrogant. Unmarried, she lived with her sister Caroline (buried in the vault in 1758).
