La Princesa Elise III (ソレアナ公女エリス3世, Soreana Kimijo Erisu 3-sei?, lit. "Princesa de Soleanna, Elise la Tercera") es un personaje recurrente de Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). Es la actual soberana de Soleanna e hija única del Duque y Duquesa de Soleanna, quienes fallecieron en su infancia.
Sonic's opening cutscene, in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). The principality of Soleanna celebrates the Festival of the Sun to honor their god of light, Solaris. The ruler Princess Elise III lights the ceremonial torch, only to see a vision of a giant beast burning the city.
Sonic's story begins in Soleanna, the City of Water, ruled by Princess Elise. Dr. Eggman learns that she is the keeper of a dark secret - the "Flames of Disaster" - and attempts to kidnap her. Sonic rescues Elise and is attacked by Silver the Hedgehog, who has traveled from the future to stop the " Iblis Trigger".
