21 de dic. de 2023 · The Dukedom of Fife. The dukedom was created for Alexander Duff in the Scottish peerage in 1889 by Queen Victoria. She recreated the title in the English peerage in 1900. The English dukedom took precedence over the Scottish one and a female could inherit it. Alexandra, Maud's sister became the 2nd Duchess of Fife (English version) in 1912.
