Frederica of Hanover (Friederike Luise; Greek: Φρειδερίκη; 18 April 1917 – 6 February 1981) was Queen of Greece from 1 April 1947 until 6 March 1964 as the wife of King Paul.

Two years after Hitler had made his request to her parents, Frederica was proposed to by a first cousin to her mother, Prince Paul of Greece, while in Berlin for the 1936 Summer Olympics. The couple had met in Florence, Italy, during the time Frederica was studying there.
Called "passionately charitable" and "almost irresistibly charming," Queen Fredericka, the German-born consort of Paul I, king of Greece, from 1947 until his death in 1964, was devoted to her adopted country, particularly during and after World War II and during the Communist war when she played a crucial role in the country's rehabilitation.
