Richard Harris. Richard St John Francis Harris (1 October 1930 – 25 October 2002) [1] was an Irish actor and singer. Having studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, he rose to prominence as an icon of the British New Wave. He received numerous accolades including the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actor, and a Grammy Award.
Richard Harris was an Irish actor who starred in films such as This Sporting Life, The Guns of Navarone, Unforgiven and Gladiator. He also played Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter films and was nominated for two Oscars.

Richard Harris nació el 1 de octubre del año 1930 en la población irlandesa de Limerick. Tenía ascendencia galesa. Sus padres, Ivan Harris y Mildred Harty, poseían un negocio de molino de harina.
