Roberto II de Normandía, Roberto I de Maine, o Roberto Curthose (ca. 1051-3 de febrero de 1134), hijo primogénito de Guillermo I de Inglaterra y Matilde de Flandes, fue conde de Maine desde 1063 hasta 1069, y duque de Normandía desde 1087 hasta 1106 y pretendiente al trono de Inglaterra.
Robert II of Normandy, or Robert Curthose (c. 1051 – February 1134, French: Robert Courteheuse / Robert II de Normandie), was the eldest son of William the Conqueror and succeeded his father as Duke of Normandy in 1087, reigning until 1106. Robert was also an unsuccessful claimant to the throne of the Kingdom of England

Robert Curthose (c. 1050 –1134), sometimes styled Robert II or Robert III, was the Duke of Normandy from 1087 until 1106. He was also Count of Maine. His reign as Duke is noted for the conflicts he had with his brothers in England. This led to the dukedom of Normandy being reunited with crown of England.

The army of Robert Curthose, Duke of Normandy, left for the Holy Land on the First Crusade. Robert was the eldest son of William the Conqueror and brother to William Rufus, king of England. [1] . He was reportedly so poor that he often had to stay in bed for lack of clothes.
