The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst ( RMAS or RMA Sandhurst ), commonly known simply as Sandhurst, is one of several military academies of the United Kingdom and is the British Army 's initial officer training centre. It is located in the town of Sandhurst, Berkshire, though its ceremonial entrance is in Camberley, Surrey, southwest of London.

Reserve Officer. PQ Officer. University Officers' Training Corps. International students. Regular Officer. Training at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst lasts for 44 weeks, broken down into three 14-week terms. Between each term, there are adventurous training exercises and 2-3 weeks of leave.
The Royal Military College ( RMC ), founded in 1801 and established in 1802 at Great Marlow and High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, England, but moved in October 1812 to Sandhurst, Berkshire, was a British Army military academy for training infantry and cavalry officers of the British and Indian Armies.

The world-renowned Royal Military Academy Sandhurst has trained the Army’s officers since 1802. For generations, its cadets have endeavoured to live up to the academy’s motto: ‘Serve to Lead’. A key part of their training has always been the study of military history.
The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) is the spiritual home of the British Army Officer and has built a national and international reputation for the delivery of world-class leadership. The Sandhurst Trust is the official charity and alumni community of RMAS and is the only organisation linking all serving and former Army Officers.
