The Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII) acquired Sandringham in 1862 and had several houses built the following year, including Park House and York Cottage.

One of the reception rooms is decorated with cream walls and wooden floors, and features a large open fireplace.

This bedroom is decorated with lilac floral walls and wooden floors. It also features its own en-suite bathroom, with checkered black and white flooring. It is one of the royal residences of Charles III, whose grandfather, George VI, and great-grandfather, George V, both died there. The house stands in a 20,000-acre (8,100 ha) estate in the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
