Singleton is a small picturesque village in West Sussex, just north of Chichester and within the South Downs National Park. Within the village itself, see the Church of the blessed Virgin Mary - a very old Saxon church dominated by a sturdy square tower and containing Tudor period pews.
Singleton is a small pretty village just off the main A286 Chichester to Midhurst Road, near the source of the River Lavant. The river bed is dry most of the year, but flows in the winter in a short valley to Chichester Harbour. However, it caused extensive flooding in 2015.
