Sir Geoffrey Adam Shakerley, 6th Baronet, was the son of Sir Cyril Holland Shakerley, 5th Baronet, by Elizabeth Averil, née Eardley-Wilmot. He was married in 1962 to his first wife, the actress Virginia Maskell (died 1968); with whom he had issue, two children.
