29 de mar. de 2024 · Spencer Compton, 2nd earl of Northampton (born May 1601—died March 19, 1643, Hopton Heath, Shropshire, Eng.) was a Royalist commander during the English Civil Wars. The son of William Compton, 1st earl in the Compton line (whom he succeeded in 1630), he warmly supported King Charles I.
