Using "The Model 1903 Springfield Rifle and Its Variations" by Joe Poyer as a reference, I determined that this 1903 Springfield is an all-original from 1909, further meaning that since it left the arsenal from the factory, it never went back for upgrades / refurbishment. These are pretty hard to come by, if you know your US milsurps well.
