The Municipal Zoological Garden in Warsaw is a large, green island in the middle of the city, a magical place, full of interesting adventures. You can visit it for knowledge, relax surrounded by beautiful nature and observe wonderful animals.

Tickets. Group tickets: for every 10 persons entitled to the discount, 1 guardian enters for 1 PLN. Tickets can be used within 30 days from the date of purchase (except for free tickets and annual passes).
The Warsaw Zoo opened its gates to nearly 600 visitors from Europe, Africa and America. In March 2008, the Warsaw Zoological Garden celebrated its 80th birthday. The official celebrations at the Kazimierz Palace were attended by a group of distinguished guests, including Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, Mayor of Warsaw.
Founded in 1928, Warsaw Zoo provides shelter for about 5,000 animals belonging to 500 different species. Spanning across 40 hectares, visitors can observe the wildlife creatures a safe distance away from them.

Upsides if the zoo are: lots of exotic animals and closures have low fences so that photographing the animals is often easy. Also there are plenty of toilets around as well as small cafes and benches.
