Still reeling from the loss of Sam Rubin, I just could not believe the news when I heard it. I first met David when he played with The Brecker Brothers band (brothers Michael and Randy, Will Lee, Steve Khan, Don Grolnick, Chris Parker) and we immediately hit it off and became fast-running buddies.
