A British secret agent working for MI6 under the codename 007, Bond has been portrayed on film in twenty-seven productions by actors Sean Connery, David Niven, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig.
But his performace as the man himself is my favorite. Back in the day, and even now among casual audiences, yes. Among more dedicated Bond fans, particularly fans of the novels, no. I also believe that part of the reason Dalton is underappreciated is simply because of his short tenure.
