On a combined bachelor course, you will study two subjects (core subject between 90 and 120 credit points, secondary subject with 60 credit points). Courses with teacher training are always combined bachelor’s courses.

How much money do I need to live in Berlin? Berlin is still much cheaper than other German cities. On average students need c. 950 Euros monthly.
The formal requirements are determined by Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and you should take note of them before applying. Your application can only be successfully assessed by uni-assist if you meet all the requirements, have a suitable university entrance qualification and can prove that you have the necessary language skills.

Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin accepts applications from prospective students who have obtained their university entrance qualification abroad and are interested in studying at a university (intended degree: Preparatory college (Studienkolleg) with subsequent studies, bachelor's degree, state examination, master's degree), pre-checked by uni-assist.

In addition, "Berufswissenschaften" (a set of modules covering the pedagogic methodology of the chosen subjects, educational topics and German as a Foreign Language) will have to be taken. Please note that all our undergraduate courses are taught in German.
