Urban Victoria has a large and growing network of dedicated bike lanes that crisscross the downtown core and complement a wider web of multi-use trails, including the 55km (34-mile) Galloping Goose Trail and the 29km (18-mile) Lochside Trail, both of which are built on top of old railway lines.

We spent a few days of our honeymoon on Salt Spring Island. Then, since moving to Vancouver and later Victoria, we’ve found ourselves drawn back many times for a getaway.
