Marie was born into the British royal family. Her parents were Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh (later Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha), and Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna of Russia.

However we found the bathrooms (showers and floors) frequently flooded, and with luggage storage charged at a cost on the day of checkout the overall value of our stay could be improved.
